A football podcast that isn't really about football. Athletico Mince is a comedy that started out as a football podcast, and at the beginning, it took a humorous perspective on football and everything else around it. Later on, the show evolved and focused its progression on different themes.

It now includes several real and fictional characters voiced by the hosts themselves in semi-regular sections. More often, the hosts give bizarre anecdotes of their experiences and encounters.

The hosts are the legendary comedian and actor Bob Mortimer and Andy Dawson, a freelance writer and podcaster.

Athletico Mince is, however, not entirely off the world of sports as it sometimes features sports personalities such as Mark Lawrenson and Peter Beardsley.
