We checked the plans on audible.co.uk on 6 October 2026. There are two, and you can pay for each one monthly or yearly:
- Audible Standard: £5.99/month or £69.99/year. You pick 1 audiobook a month from the whole collection and can listen to it for as long as you are a member. A pick you don’t use does not roll over.
- Audible Premium: £8.99/month or £109.99/year. You get 1 credit a month for any audiobook, and the books you buy with credits are yours to keep, even after you cancel. Unused credits roll over, up to 6. Premium also gives you the all-you-can-listen catalogue (the Plus Catalogue) and member-only sales.
Both plans start with a 30-day free trial for new members. After that the fee is charged automatically, and you can switch plans or cancel every month.

How to cancel Audible
You can cancel at any time, also during the free trial. Cancel before the 30 days are over and you are never charged.
- On the website: sign in at audible.co.uk, open Account Details and choose Cancel membership.
- If you joined through the App Store or Google Play, cancel the subscription there instead.
- Spend your credits first. Unused credits are lost when the membership ends.
Audiobooks you bought with money or credits stay in your library after you cancel. Titles from the all-you-can-listen catalogue and Standard monthly selections get a lock icon until you join again.
