Wilton Park Foundation presents The Diplomatic Brief - a series of conversations exploring the dialogue shaping international affairs, with those who have been ‘in the room’.

When the immediate crisis has passed, when the headlines have moved on, what comes next? The answer is diplomacy. Bringing together the right people, in the right room, to have the right conversations has never been more important.

The Diplomatic Brief goes behind the headlines to explore the major global issues and diplomatic moments shaping international affairs — and to understand how diplomacy actually works.

In each episode, we speak to people with first-hand experience of international diplomacy: ambassadors, politicians, policymakers, negotiators and others who have been part of the conversations that shape our world.

Our aim is to provide an informed, impartial and accessible guide to the issues that matter — and to offer a glimpse behind the scenes of the world’s most important diplomatic conversations.

The Diplomatic Brief is released monthly and is freely available wherever you get your podcasts. Click the ‘follow’ or ‘subscribe’ button on your podcast app so you never miss an episode.
